Our Home Improvement Program, funded by the NYS Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC HIP I), was used to improve 20 homes from 2016 to 2017. We are currently operating our second round (AHC HIP II), where we are improving another 20 homes. To qualify, you must own and reside in a single-family home in the South End and meet the program’s income criteria. Grant funds are available from $5,000 to a maximum of $40,000.
Homeowners are eligible if their household income is 112% or under the annual median income (AMI) for the Albany-Schenectady-Troy Metropolitan Area.

We are not currently accepting applications for AHC HIP II, however if you are interested, please contact our office about being put on a waitlist for our next grant round.
